At Everytable, I worked under the GM of Operations & Subscription to increase customer acquisition and retention of the meal subscription service. During the four-month internship, I wrote and designed weekly emails, and analyzed open, click-through, and conversion rates to devise strategies to improve email marketing campaigns. In addition, I helped strategize and implement a customer journey map by writing copy for a series of welcome emails and creating a standard operating procedure for calling new subscription customers.

As part of my Food Studies minor at UCLA, I had the opportunity to produce a film about the food industry’s response to COVID-19. Since I had already been working at Everytable, I was eager to pitch a documentary about their efforts to provide emergency food relief to vulnerable individuals during the pandemic. My pitch was chosen as one of the final group projects and I was designated the Director of the film.

I worked closely with my team to execute the vision for our documentary. Specifically, I provided research and analysis on food insecurity in Los Angeles; conducted interviews with Everytable’s VP of Strategic Partnerships and GM of Operations & Subscription to better understand their COVID-19 strategy; approved all video footage to ensure that it aligns with the overall message and intended look and feel of our film. As Director, I also delivered comprehensive feedback to the Producer and Editor at every stage of production.
